Government Contract & Grant Writing
Flat fees for most contract & grant writing assignments begin at $4500 and up depending on the complexity of the proposal and the length of time we have to complete the assignment.

Foundation/Corporate Giving Proposals
We will complete a comprehensive search of foundation/corporate giving sources for a single project concept; draft a foundation letter proposal; and prepare applications to the ten best sources identified in the search for a minimum fee of $8,000. For an additional $1,000, a federal/state grant source search may be included.

Grant Source Research
Customized grant source research is available for any project concept. This may include keyword searches of databases of federal grant programs and 20,000 foundation/corporate giving sources, as well as telephone surveys/Internet research of state and local government sources. The fee usually ranges from $4,000 – $6,000, based on the project concept and scope of the search. Full payment in advance is required for grant source research assignments.

Editing/Technical Assistance/Resume Services
Complete editing of client prepared proposals, as well as technical assistance, is available on an hourly basis. The hourly rate is $300 per hour, with a 15-hour minimum payable in advance.

Grant-Writing Seminar
Conduct grant-writing seminar for up to 8 individuals. The fee is $5,000, based on the project concept and scope of the search. Full payment in advance is required for grant writing seminars.

Development and drafting of a press release. The fee is $750, based on the concept and scope of the release. Full payment in advance is required for press releases.​

retainer agreement
Under a retainer arrangement, a $4,000 retainer amount is set. We are available to conduct grant source research, alert the client to grant opportunities, prepare proposals and provide ongoing advice and consultation. We keep track of hours worked with hours billed at $240 per hour, a 20% discount from our standard hourly rate of $300 per hour. Hours not used in a given month are “banked” for use in future months. The retainer is due at the start of each month and there is a three month minimum.
Not-to-Exceed Agreements
In this approach, a mutually agreed upon not-to-exceed amount is set to complete an assignment or provide ongoing assistance. A 50% deposit is required and hours used are tracked at our hourly rate, discounted by 20% ($240 per hour). The balance of the not-to-exceed amount is billed when the initial deposit is substantially used.
